This project was part of a module titled Superform at the RCA, which challenged students to explore form in designing and making an innovative chair.

The Necker chair is the result of an exploration into illusion, and how forms can deceive. Optical illusions in physical form so often only work from one viewing angle. This chair is designed to provide a necker-cube illusion from any viewing angle.
